Games are such a great way to learn things. That’s why I’m so excited to let you know what I’ve been up to. I’ve combined some of my interests of teaching and learning along with my kids, and of making learning fun, and I’ve have come up with some great educational file folder games. Now, I’ll admit I didn’t do this all by myself. I’ve had some amazing help from my boys. They’ve supplied me with so many great ideas and they’ve helped me a lot with game board design. I really couldn’t have done it without them.
I’m now offering these games on my brand-new store at Educents. To launch my new store we made a fun Presidents’ Day board game on the life of George Washington which for a limited time I’m giving away for free.
You’ll learn a lot about the life of George Washington playing the game. It also includes forty question cards on the office of the presidency and of the lives of many of our presidents.
We had a lot of fun making this game and more fun playing it. I don’t think you or your kids can play it without learning from it. The questions are all multiple-choice so even if you’re clueless about the presidents you have a pretty good chance of getting them right. With multiple-choice questions, kids of all ages (and adults who need some help with their history) can play it. I even managed to win a game against my son who’s a history whiz. But that’s only because he contracted smallpox four times (yes, I know, technically this is impossible) and then kept surrendering at Fort Necessity.
So I hope you’ll head on over to my store and get this free download. And if you enjoyed it, I’d appreciate a review. I have a lot of other games listed so you might want to check those out, too!
*** Update: This game is no longer free, but I still hope you’ll visit my store and look around.
And I’d love it if you’d share it with your friends.
